How can we help?
Email us
Tell us your iPhone model, your iOS version and what happened. On Android, include your phone model and Android version (Settings > About phone). A screenshot or screen recording helps a lot. We read every message, including ideas for new features.

Common Questions
Where are my edits saved?
In the Projects tab. Every change saves by itself, and your original photo or video is never changed. Tap a project to keep editing.
How do I save my photo or video to my gallery?
Tap Save, then Save to Photos. The first time, allow Editor to add to your Photos library. If you said no earlier, open the Settings app, go to Apps, then Editor, then Photos, and choose Add Photos Only. On Android, tap Save, then Save to Gallery: photos go to the Editor Studio folder in Pictures, and videos to the Editor Studio folder in Movies.
How do I turn several photos and clips into one video?
In Create, tap Select, then tap up to 30 photos and videos in the order they should play, and tap Make Reel. On Android, tap Make a reel and pick up to 30 photos and videos in the order they should play. To add a transition, tap the button between two clips.
How do I add music or my voice?
Open the Audio tool. Add a song or sound from Files or from another video, or record a voiceover from the white line. The music gets quieter under your voice by itself.
How do I compare with the original?
Touch and hold the picture. Let go to see your edit again.
Auto Captions says it isn't available
Auto Captions runs entirely on your phone, using its on-device speech recognition. It works only when your phone supports on-device recognition for the language being spoken. On Android it needs Android 13 or later, and your phone may first download the language.
The camera or microphone doesn't work
Open the Settings app, go to Apps, then Editor, and turn on Camera and Microphone. On Android, go to Settings > Apps > Editor > Permissions.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your photos, videos and recordings are edited on your phone and never uploaded. On iPhone the app collects no data. On Android, Google's ML Kit (used by Cutout) sends Google technical information about how it performs. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
